Marsee Magnetic Stash Bag for Harley-Davidsons, 4.1 Liter
Reviewer: Lena Flavin
Date Added: Tuesday 25 August, 2009
I recently bought this tank bag for my Harley, and I love it. I had felt slighted that there was nothing like it, and always wanted one. It's a great storage for essentials like keys, sunglasses, I Pass, wallet etc. It's a hard case with removable map window. It fits over the console like a glove! And one of my favorite features is the carrying handle. It's an awesome tank bag! I highly recommend it. Lena

Dyna Beads Innovative Balancing

Sold! Don't think I have ever ridden anything as smooth since I started running the Dyna Beads. Love the nah sayers, "that can't possibly work". Just makes mounting my own tires one step easier. I will never put another weight on a bike rim again. Very interested in tire life now as well.

Cooling Neck Band, American Flag
Reviewer: James Bass
Date Added: Thursday 20 August, 2009
I bought two of them and rotated them on my ride to Sturgis this year. They worked well and kept me cool in temperatures up to 110 degrees. However, I've given it a below average rating because the red die in the design bled onto my collar and ruined one of my shirts. This was despite the fact that I followed the manufacturer's instructions to submerge it once in water and to allow it to dry once before use. It actually took 5 such submersions and drying cycles to stop the bleeding. EDITOR: Thanks for the information James. We haven't received any complaints about this before, so we'll be in touch with the manufacturer.

Evaporative Cooling Vest, Silver
Reviewer: Roger Mead
Date Added: Tuesday 11 August, 2009
Have three of these vests. They are great if worn under a lightweight long sleeved cotton shirt. This will slow the evaporation down so you get longer cooling. DO NOT wear under a leather vest or jacket. My wife and her daughter just finished a 900 mile weekend trip. Her daughter liked hers so well she talked about it on her radio show, which led to calls for more information. My granddaughter and I have worn them the last 6 years through the Southern CA desert on the Run To The Wall in 100+ degrees, with great results and satisfaction. We resoak them about every 100 miles, due to the temperatures and running 70mph, as they will dry out faster than advertised under those conditions. Would I buy them again? In a heart beat.

My complaints: 1- Useless above 55mph. 2- VOX requires that I yell several times into the mic before it activates, usually, the last yell being in my wife's headset. 3- Cuts off in the middle of a conversation, sometimes in the middle of a word. 4- Automatic shut off happens sometimes in a few seconds, sometimes in several minutes. 5- Volume is very inconsistent, sometimes barely audible sometime clear, but it only works properly, when it does, is at lower speeds. Unless I have a faulty unit, this thing is frustrating and worthless. Don't buy it.

Road Runner Motorcycle Touring & Travel: Pennsylvania Dutch Country Tour (DVD)
Reviewer: Peter Burke
Date Added: Saturday 08 August, 2009
I bought this video while planning a ride from Vermont to Tennessee, hoping to find some decent back roads to ride along the way. No way! This video is all about tourist traps, not about riding. Over half the length of this video was an infomercial for Roadrunner Magazine. While I like the magazine a lot, I consider this video a waste of time and twenty bucks. You'll get far more information with 30 minutes on Google.

I ride a BMW K1200RS. By far the best tailbag on the market. Attaches nicely to the rear rack. I use it primarily for day rides in conjunction with a seat bag. I've had this bag for a number of years. It has held-up very well with no construction issues on any level. The expandable sides make it great to load-up for a 500+ mile day. It you are considering adding a tailbag - look no further, this is the one.

Tour Master Transition 2 Jacket, Men’s
Reviewer: Albion Estes
Date Added: Sunday 26 July, 2009
What a Great jacket. 85 degrees, 95% humidity, no sweat, just open the vents and go. 37 degrees and fog, no problem just close all the vent and close up your wrist tabs and you will be warm and cozy. Rain and hail are no problem for this jacket, you just stay dry and comfortable. I own more jackets than I would like to admit, but this is by far my favorite. And it is by far the best value for your dollar. With all of the features it offers and the quality of its construction, I just don't know how you could go wrong by owning one.

Evaporative Cooling Vest, Silver
Reviewer: Richard Hayden
Date Added: Wednesday 15 July, 2009
I have been using my vest for the past two years. When riding across the Mojave in early May as well as along the I-10/I-20 corridor in Mid May. The vest dries out within the first half to three quarters of an hour. I even tried soaking it in ice water which add a few minutes of cooling but not very much. In areas with more humidity the vest acts satisfactorily but only for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Thie is a fra cry from the advertised 4 - 8 hours. Editor's Note: The amount of time it takes to deplete the moisture in the vest will vary tremendously, depending on numerous variables. The published data is from the manufacturer and was verified by testing, years ago, here in northern New Hampshire. We will grant you, summer at 44 degrees of north latitude, is definitely not the Mojave Desert.

Update on prior review: About to return my second set of these and request a refund. Whitehorse has been great but this headset just doesn't seem to hold up. Neither pair made it more then 200 miles before starting break up and cut out as the wire blew in the wind. Too bad cause they sounded great while working. Editor's Note: JW, we're sorry you've had trouble with the IMC HS200 helmet speakers. We are happy to refund your purchase price under our 30 day satisfaction guarantee. These speakers also carry a two year warranty from the factory. Because we can't actually see your installation, we don't know why you've had two failures of the kit. We have been selling these speakers to legions of happy customers, including Fred Rau, since 2004. We have some sets in house, that have been in constant use since that time with no trouble. We can only guess that there may be a problem with the way you installed or used your HS200 kit. Regardless, we are pleased to refund your purchase.
