Air Force Blaster Motorcycle Dryer

Air Force Blaster Motorcycle Dryer

In summary, the Air Force Master Blaster works great; it blows like the dickens with its two motors, has a warm-air option, plenty of hose to get to the piddly spots, and a plethora of accessories. This unit will see a lot of use, and it makes washing the bike painless and drying it fun.

I couldn't agree more with all the comments I see here. I've had mine for four years now and they are/have been awesome. Dry in the worst of rainy conditions and comfortable to walk around in definitely. Outstanding price for the value. Thank you.

Shop Class as Soulcraft: An Inquiry into the Value of Work

I bought Crawford's book after reading the New York Times article that was published before the book was released. While the NYT article was written in a thoughtful, approachable and extremely readable style, the book is largely written in the stiff, often stilted style of a typical academic treatise. Crawford may have left academia to earn his living (for a while, at least), but he did not leave its literary conventions. It's a pity that his profound arguments about the value of work and our sadly skewed views of what the workplace should be are hobbled by the leaden writing style. If you can slog your way through, there's a lot here to think about, a lot of valuable insight into what's right and wrong with work and our attitudes towards it. I enjoyed the book but I wish it had been written by Crawford-the-mechanic instead of Crawford-the-academic.

Olympia GT Air Jacket

Great jacket. Four season use? Maybe in other parts of the country, however there is still not quite enough venting for hot Oklahoma summers. Sizing could also be an issue if you use all three layers and are a little on the "heavy" side. I normally wear an XL jacket, however I wound up exchanging mine for a 2XL; the smaller size was a little too snug with both the rain and insulating layers zipped in. Again, for the price this is a great jacket (for those of use who can't afford all the neat BMW stuff).

...a book that should be left by the bedside, to be read one or two articles at a time. That way, the reader can stretch out the time spent traveling vicariously with the author, and savoring the wit and wisdom that each piece supplies.

Sounding a little too much like an MSF manual? No, there are more in-depth, practical (and author-practiced) solutions here, like the best place to put your feet on a track day (balls of feet on pegs, lets you lean over farther) and the type of gloves and boots you need for the best feedback from your motorcycle (hint: not the padded, comfortable kind. Sorry)

As one would expect with any marqué history all the models are detailed with a useful specification panel at the rear, as well as clear colour images throughout. However, it is the insight from the authors, both previous Buell employees and their photographs taken during that time that help make this book stand out. If like me you have ridden all the bikes (and have the pleasure of knowing Eric) you will find this something of a trip down memory lane. It will also help you realise just exactly what has been achieved in a very conservative market, by a man with sound engineering beliefs.
