The kit includes three one-ounce bags of Dyna Beads™ and the applicator bottle.
Did you know it’s fast, easy, and inexpensive to perfectly balance your motorcycle wheels?! We were skeptical at first, but after extensive testing we’re believers in Dyna Beads™! Our resident wheel balancer with 30 years of experience says he’ll never use another stick-on wheel weight.
The Dyna Beads™ system is a Dynamic Balancing Solution. These high-density ceramic beads are easily installed in your tube or tire to continuously balance your tires as you ride. The amount of material will distribute itself in weight and position dependent on the balance requirements of the individual tire.
Motorcycles ride s-m-o-o-t-h with Dyna Beads™! You simply won’t believe the ride...
- no spoke or rim weights to damage your wheels
- glass smooth ride, every time, all the time
- dramatically longer tire life
- eliminates tire cupping
- easy to install
- no re-balancing
- tested at over 150 mph
To install Dyna Beads™, simply deflate your tire and remove the valve core. With the included applicator bottle, pour one or two ounces of Dyna Beads into the valve stem depending on the tire size. (See chart below.) Then install the valve core and inflate your tire. That’s it! Most motorcycles will require one ounce of Dyna Beads™ for the front tire and two ounces for the rear tire. (For BMW motorcycles with Telelever suspensions, be sure to use two ounces for the front tire as well as the rear. Just order product code BEADS plus an additional one ounce bag, which is product code BEADS1.) Kit includes three one-ounce bags of Dyna Beads™ and the applicator bottle.
- 1 oz = 19/21-inch wheel diameter
- 1 oz = 10-inch wheel diameter (scooters)
- 2 oz = 12-inch wheel diameter (scooters)
- 2 oz = 150mm on up in width for motorcycles
Note: on the very remote chance a bead might be “hiding” behind the valve core seat, check your tire pressure with a source of pressurized air nearby. That way if a bead did get caught in the valve a quick squirt of air would clear it. We’ve actually tried to get this to happen and have only done so once. It happened in remote interior Quebec province by the side of a dusty road on a blisteringly hot day with tractor trailer rigs roaring by. Murphy is alive and well, no doubt.

Sold! Don't think I have ever ridden anything as smooth since I started running the Dyna Beads. Love the nah sayers, "that can't possibly work". Just makes mounting my own tires one step easier. I will never put another weight on a bike rim again. Very interested in tire life now as well.

The beads are not hard to install. Put the plastic line on the valve stem and position the stem at about 1500hrs. As you are installing the beads continually squeeze and release the plastic bottle. I have found that if one does this fairly fast the beads go right in! Try it...you will like it!

I have found this to be a useful product. My 1993 FLHTC Harley had a fistful of wheel weights on both the front and rear wheels. Now I run with no wheel weights at all. I believe the handling to be even better. I do agree that installing takes some patience but it's really not that hard.

I tried the product on a 1995 Triumph Tiger front and rear. I must admit that getting the beads in the tubes was not an enjoyable task but like everything else once you learn the trick it isn't so bad. The front tire was much faster than the back not only because of the fewer beads required but you learn not to let them "bunch up" and to keep tapping on the stem as they go down.
After installing the cores (non-filtered) and inflating the tires to the correct pressure I went for a test ride. Immediately upon running up to highway speed I discovered that the bikes footing felt soft. Thinking I had misread the pressure gauge I went back to the house to check it out.
Well they were right on target and I was pleasantly surprised! The beads smoothed out the ride beyond what was already a trouble free set up. The idea of bead balancing was intriguing. I tried it. It works.
