This Tour Master Sentinel Men’s Rain Jacket features:

Waterproof and breathable rip stop nylon shell with sealed seams is rated MVM 5000 for maximum breathability.
Features an Aqua-Barrier under-the-helmet hood to help eliminate seepage in the collar area. The hood easily stows in a hidden collar pocket.
Self-contained storage pouch allows the jacket to stuff into itself for convenient storage.
Waterproof zippered underarm exhaust vents allow warm air to exit from the jacket interior.
3M Scotchlite® reflective piping and Tour Master’s signature reflective triangles help increase nighttime conspicuity.

What Does MVM Mean?

MVM = Moisture Vapor Movement

5000 rating is a rating of how much moisture vapor can escape from inside of the jacket out. This is the breathability of the garment. 5000 is a good rating.

While traveling with a good rainsuit may work as a talisman against rain, in the winter you will need a good one. Made of waterproof and breathable seam-sealed nylon, the Sentinel jacket includes a hood to prevent leaking down the neck, while the pants feature Nomex on the inside of the legs to prevent exhaust heat damage.

I thought everything that could be invented for rainsuits had been - until I tried TourMaster's new Sentinel.

...the Sentinel has kept me smug and dry in everything from a three-hour, 70-mph freeway deluge to an all-day backroad sprinkle.

Verdict: This is a rainsuit with quality you can see. I don't leave home without it.
