Tour Master Transition 2 Jacket, Men’s

$189.99

Order Code: TMTJ

The Tour Master Transition is a three quarter length jacket manufactured from 600 denier Carbolex® and 600 Denier Ballistic Polyester shell. The waterproof and breathable Rainguard® barrier allows dryness without perspiration buildup. A zip-out quilted liner features 100g polyfill insulation.

The Microfiber lined collar and cuffs are soft, yet durable, and a collar anchor snap eliminates flapping while the collar is open. Includes vertical zippered chest map pockets, zippered hand pockets with flap closure, internal media pocket, dual zippered fanny pack, and sleeve key pocket. Includes shoulder armor and back pad.

Waterproof zippered chest vents, combined with sleeve vents, rear exit vents, and the pipeline ventilation system provide flow-through ventilation. A one-inch wide reflective strip across the back, reflective sleeve piping, Phoslite® material panels and Tour Master’s signature reflective rear triangle help to increase nighttime conspicuity.

Adjustable sleeve take-up straps at the forearm help to secure the removable, CE-Approved elbow armor. Adjustable waist belts, with TPR pulls help to fine tune the fit.

I bought the Transition 2 jacket at Whitehorse's Open House this summer, and wore it home to Boston the next day. Hardly a day has passed since that I haven't worn it and it still looks like new. It's comfortable without the liner from about 50 - 90 degrees. We're finally getting to the time of year when I'll need to zip the liner back in. And when it's wet, I simply zip the vents and pull down the double velcro closures, and I'm dry inside. I have been tremendously happy with this jacket.

What a Great jacket. 85 degrees, 95% humidity, no sweat, just open the vents and go. 37 degrees and fog, no problem just close all the vent and close up your wrist tabs and you will be warm and cozy. Rain and hail are no problem for this jacket, you just stay dry and comfortable. I own more jackets than I would like to admit, but this is by far my favorite. And it is by far the best value for your dollar. With all of the features it offers and the quality of its construction, I just don't know how you could go wrong by owning one.

I recently bought the Tour master Transition 2 Series jacket and wanted to try it out at where I live - hot, humid Malaysia! I wanted this (one-time)jacket for all conditions so I do not need other jackets to change into. From where I come from, it's only wet and hot! I tested it riding under the sun (30 deg celsius) it's cooler than my other Cordura with mesh lining jacket!! The Tourmaster jacket is a more heavier jacket, mind you. I was impressed with 'breathability' of the Transition series jacket, even in the searing heat. In the heaviest monsoon rains?? What else can you expect from this jacket, it's waterproof!! Except from the 'short' collar of the jacket, water does run down my neck (wear a scarf to cover your neck), it worked well as what was advertised.

I love the venting system. At high speeds, my jacket filled with so much air that I wanted to close some of the vents. I had trouble with aligning the main zipper though. Most of all, this jacket has so many features that rival some US$300-US$400 jackets. Bottom line? Good features for the money!! Buy it!!

I was a tough convert to a non-leather riding garment, but the way the fabric conformed to my body after just a few rides along with CE-approved elbow and shoulder armor and the very practical 1-inch Phoslite reflective strip across the upper back made this jacket too sensible to leave in the closet. Unlike many textile garments on the market, this suit didn’t make me nervous about crash protection—the build quality is that evident.

Hi Guys,

Just a short note to thank you for your fabulous service. I'm an overseas online buyer who just received delivery (1 day before estimated!) of my online order. I am impressed by the quality of apparel, service, accurate information, even delivery. Well done all of you! I had purchased both a Tourmaster Jacket and Tourmaster Rain jacket. The sizing was perfect (as described) and the quality is tremendous, and at the right price, exactly as described.

Now I look forward to my daily work ride on my BMW F800ST. Come rain, hail, or shine.

Many thanks Whitehorse Gear and Tourmaster.

My sons and I recently used Transition jackets & pants for a 30day, 6000 mile ride to & from Tierra del Fuego. Temps ranged from 100f down to 30f; sun and rain; 5 mph in mud to 85 on the road. The gear worked very well indeed: wide temp range. Happy to say we didn't get to test the armor.

When it was in the 30s and drizzling, which it does a lot in Patagonia, we added the TourMaster yellow rain jacket over the Transition jacket, for added warmth. It packs small, so when removing it later, it fit easily into the tailbag. Good stuff; great value.

I live in the Caribbean with an all year around hot weather. Also, I keep another bike in the States and ride there very often. I use the Transition Motorcycle Jacket for all kinds of weather and also got rid of my foul weather gear. One jacket...great value!

The Transition has become my all-in-one riding jacket, which, I guess you can say, means that I'm no longer in transition in terms of finding a replacement foul-weather riding jacket.
